SAN CRISTOBAL DE LA HABANA CIGAR HISTORY
San Cristobal de la Habana is the latest and probably the last of the new series of Cuban cigar brands. Launched in 1996, San Cristobal de la habana has been given the original name of the city of Havana, Cuba. When it was founded by settlers back in 1519 - San Cristobal (St. Christopher) de La Habana. This Cuban cigar brand boasts four sizes, each of which is named after one of the fonts that defended the city of Havana in its heyday as the hub of the Spanish empire in Latin America. Two of the cigar sizes, La Fuerza and El Morro, are entirely new and are unique to the San Cristobal cigar brand.
Although, it was introduced to the Cuban cigar market just ten years ago "to celebrate the 480th anniversary of the foundation of the village San Cristobal de La Habana" it's in the preference of the most demanding cigar consumers. These Cuban cigars are stored in 25 unit boxes, preserving the impeccable lithography, one of the treasures that distinguish the San Cristobal de la Habana brand.
San Cristobal's four cigar vitolas are part of a series dedicated to the wall defence system of castles or military fortress in the capital of the largest of The Antilles; they are the recognition to a time, a history and the most autochthonous Cuban tradition.
